I wrote a message but I guess it just posted the title?

I was looking for some hikes that would be easy enough for children under 10 to undertake. We were planning a trip next weekend and have been searching for a suitable hike that were not too long (2-4 miles one way) and not to difficult (like climbing over jagged rocks etc). We were also planning to camp overnight.

So far the suggestions that we have had are Lake Annette (Cascades) and Shi Shi beach (Olympic peninsular). One of the parents is balking at the drive over to Shi Shi. So distance wise we are hoping for a 2-3 hr trip by car (using veggie oil as fuel).

Thanks
Goran

I take my five year old hiking with me almost everywhere we go, so all of the hikes on my website are suitable for kids (most of them are more suited for day hikes tho) www.trixiewabbit.com
