My fiance and I are looking for an awesom, secluded, scenic spot to hold a very small, casual, private wedding ceremony. Prefer breathtaking view of lakes with peaks in the background. Can be ridge top or near lake.

Although I've hiked 1k miles of AT, don't know of a suitable place in WA.

There will be 7 of us and would like to keep it within 4 miles each way. We are all in pretty good shape physically. We will be flying into Seattle a couple days in advance.

We want a secluded area where we will be unlikely to encounter other people. The date will be Sept. 29, 07. Since we now live in Houston, we are unable to scout in advance.

Can anyone help?

I would consider Pinnacle Peak at Mt. Rainier. The view from the saddle there is awesome, and is about the distance you are after. Best views in the afternoon.

Another consideration might be the Burrows Mtn at Sunrise (in Mt. Rainier Park). Best views in the morning - hence the name Sunrise

Either one would be great.

Hope that helps.
