You can go here: http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/mbs/recreation/activities/trails/skykomish.shtml
and check out the current conditions for the Tonga Ridge Trail.

I can't seem to get any trail information when I click on specific trails. Don't know if it has to do with my computer or not. Looking for somewhere close to Puyallup, but not Mt. Rainier that doesn't take a whole lot of driving time and isn't too long of a hike. Any suggestions?

Hmm that is strange - what browser are you using? I have only tested ie6 and firefox on windows. In the south I generally go to Mt. Rainier. It would seem fairly likely that you would need to go to either the mountains or the coast. From Puyallup Mt. Rainier is only about 1.5 hours away - that would be my suggestion.

Hope that helps,

John
