Has anyone been up Yellow Aster Butte in the last week or so? I'd like to camp in the flats where all the ponds are but I'm not sure if there is snow there now. The flats have to be about 5,000 to 5,500 ft. I've encountered some hikes in the last couple weeks in the Baker-Snoqualime Forrest area where snow has started at 4,500 to 5,000ft. If anyone knows if there is snow on Yellow Aster Butte yet it would be much appreciated. If there is snow I'll take a day-trip if not I would love to camp there. Thanks.
