Review: I've been going to the Ohanapecosh campground for just about as long as I can remember camping and It's still one of my favorites. It's set in a Old-growth, possibly second growth, cedar grove. The sites are well spaced and I've yet to find a disappointing one. The best feature is the glacier fed river that cuts right through the campground. Right around noon, the sun hits the river and it lights up the most brilliant turquoise color. Just downstream of the bridge, theres a 20-25 foot rock to jump off if you were so inclined.....just make sure you check out the landing zone (and the 41 degree water). There a good mix of easy and moderate hikes in the general area, as well as a lot of waterfalls.
